Connect your 3rd Wave to your computer, (Windows or Mac), via the USB connector on the back of the Synth. 2. Once connected the 3rd Wave will show up as an external drive 3. Copy the "ldr" file into the firmware folder on the 3rd Wave. 4. Once the copy is finished, press the global key on the 3rd Wave and then the left most encoder knob above the display to go to the "Firmware Update" selection 5. Use the second encoder from the left to select "Go" 6. The screen will now show "Firmware file: N/A", it will load the filename after a slight pause or press the refresh button at the bottom of the screen. 7. The display will now show the name of the file that you placed in the firmware folder. 8. Press "OK" at the bottom right. 9. The display will tell you when it is finished updating. 10. Once the display indicates that it is finished, disconnect the USB cable from the synth, re-boot the synthesizer.
